Keep families and communities safe.
At its core, WeHealth Arizona is an exposure notification app that can help you seek early treatment or take extra care around loved ones by anonymously notifying you if you've been potentially exposed to COVID-19. The App also provides you a chance to help protect your community by anonymously notifying others if you test positive.

Privacy Preserving & Anonymous
Our app was one of the first exposure notification apps built using the Google Apple Exposure Notification (GAEN) APIs to be piloted in the United States. We continue to collaborate with Apple and Google to ensure our app meets their privacy preserving requirements. The bottom line: Your data is safe. And so are you.

Customized for your community
Our app is designed differently. We work with public health authorities to customize messaging with targeted and prescriptive recommendations — unique at the community level — to drive even better outcomes for you and your loved ones. Your app. Your experience. Get real-time insights by county, tribal nation, and organization.

Understand your community’s impact
WeHealth provides privacy-preserving analytics that help everyone in your community understand how much of an impact we are having together. Easily access up-to-date and reliable community dashboards that show the total number of positive cases, approximate number of anonymous diagnoses shared with the app, and more.

Improving public health through collaboration
We help build partnerships between labs, governments, hospitals, and universities to generate science-based solutions for your family, community, and state — when outcomes matter most. Those deep integrations allow for quick exposure notification delivery, and access to time-sensitive and critical information in an instant.

WeHealth's technology works, we have the results to prove it.
In June of 2020, the University of Arizona first announced that it would begin a pilot of the WeHealth Arizona app (formerly known as Covid Watch Arizona) as part of a comprehensive strategy to help students successfully, and safely, return back to campus in the fall. The results demonstrated an estimated 11% reduction in R(t)(rate of transmission) and a 47% rate of adoption among those infected.
Why does this matter? That 11% compounds exponentially with each wave of cases. More importantly, it demonstrates that the true power of this technology lies with its users. That's you.
Client and Partner Testimonials
Kacey C. Ernst, MPH PhD
Professor and Program Director of Epidemiology,
University of Arizona
"The [WeHealth] Arizona app has the potential to greatly impact our Arizona communities. As we all resume our normal day to day lives, it is critical that we remain aware of our exposure status to protect those around us that are unable to be vaccinated or who have conditions that keep them from mounting a significant antibody response."
Bruce Helming, MD
Student Health Center,
University of Arizona
"Our students were comfortable and motivated to help stop the spread with [WeHealth] Arizona... The [WeHealth] Arizona app is easy, reassuring and informative."
"Partnering with WeHealth has been easy, educational and productive."
Kristen Pogreba-Brown, MPH PhD
Assistant Professor, Epidemiology & Biostatistics, University of Arizona
"By cutting off COVID transmission, you're cutting off a whole social network chain and all those cases down the road. The thought is that some of those cases could end up in the hospital, and some could die. You're not just keeping the next few people (you might have infected) safe, but way more."
Joanna Masel, D.Phil.
Head of Science Research,
WeHealth Solutions
"R(t) is often surprisingly close to 1. If we get it to switch from a bit above 1 to a bit below 1, that switches us from exponential growth to exponential decline, which is night and day."
Matt Wise, MD
Student Health Center,
Northern Arizona University
"I believe wider adoption of [WeHealth Arizona] can help slow the spread of COVID-19.
I have found the WeHealth team to be incredibly wonderful to work with as they adapt to each community's unique needs. I look forward to continuing to partner with them."
What is Endemic COVID-19?
The easiest way to think about "endemic COVID-19" is that the disease is here to stay. We will experience periodic outbreaks and surges with an unknown frequency as natural and vaccinated immunity wears off and new variants emerge. The WeHealth Arizona app is specifically designed to help us keep our homes, schools and businesses strong and healthy in this new reality.
Change starts with you and your community. Find out how the WeHealth app helps communities thrive during the endemic.
